This is a hike on the west coast of Vancouver Island

The hike includes wildflowers and panoramic views out over the ocean

This fishing boat was heading across the water just after sunrise

This was an evening sunset one evening on the Inside Passage on the central and northern coastline of British Columbia

Many of the hikers had stopped to leave their mark on one of the many floats that wash up on the beaches

The peaceful mountain Lake lies still as glass

such a calming moment

Inspired by the natural beauty of Vancouver Island

They reminded me of a couple meeting over coffee to discuss the plans for the day

I loved the way the bold colours of the kayaks contrasted the subtle tones of the rocks

The cool air made the view across the water very crisp and clear

This was a kayaking trip in the Nuchatlitz Provincial Marine Park
