This classic single malt begins its journey maturing for up to seven years in American Oak ex bourbon barrels, developing smooth vanilla and honeyed notes. It is then transferred to a virgin French Oak ex wine cask carefully shaved back to bare wood and lightly toasted to draw out the natural character of the oak itself, rather than the flavours
