Queen of Peace Size:12x12"This is one of my favorite abstract renditions of Mary titled, "Queen of Peace." When I picture Mary adorned in color, it's every color under the sun, hence this wide array of colors splashed across the canvas. This vibrant piece combines soft, flowing colors with symbolic imagery, featuring the Holy Spirit descending in gentle form and an olive branch, the timeless symbol of peace, woven together amongst watercolor and ink mediums. touch the scars of His resurrection

or as a comforting companion for rest

but will continue to show up for me over and over anyway

and may their life be filled with joy

At the top of the painting

this bookmark is a beautiful way to honor Saint Joan of Arc’s legacy

knowing that Mary

be inwardly renewed

we wrestle internally too

inviting viewers to reflect on the miracles and the deep faith that still draw millions to Lourdes each year

and a deep longing to be united with Christ
